My Copenhagen – California Kitchen

10-2

I was thinking about making small “what to eat- /where to go in Copenhagen” posts with some of my favourite places. Especially those thats kid friendly. I hope you will find them interesting and inspiring, do let me know if you would like to see more of these!

We decided to go lunching and went across the city to eat at California Kitchen (@californiakitchendk) today, I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time now and when I saw it was open during Easter, we went for it. It’s located on Nørrebrogade 6, just on the other side of the lakes and luckily for us the sun were shining though the windows, making it feel like summer in California inside.

The place is lovely and bright with plants everywhere that adds to that summer-all-year-round feeling. We parked the stroller on the inside since there were room for it today, but they also have outdoor seats, if you can’t bring the stroller inside. Luckily, Max slept all the time we were there!

The food is, as you might guess from the name of the place, California inspired, different healthy bowls stuffed with deliciousness. We got the Mexicali Bowl (left) and the Bento Bowl (right) and it was so good and tasty!

They had different flavoured Kombucha drinks (yay!) and we also got a side of nachos for Felix to gobble away on. The elderflower kombucha was a favourite.

I got serious plant-envy – need to find myself a palm tree like the one in the picture for our kitchen!

And that fiddle fig tree.. dreamy.. we’re definitely coming back – sooner than later!
