Banana chips

I had some requests on posting the recipe for the banana chips I made the other day. It’s a great, healthy snack and super easy to make! Get the kids involved too, no sharp knives needed! Eat them as a snack or use them for topping your morning Müesli – you could even add a tiny sprinkle of honey too as a final layer before they go into the oven to make them taste even sweeter.
You can find the recipe on the bottom of the post, Enjoy!
Chocolate/Cinnamon Banana chips (1 small bag), approx. 1 hour
4 Bananas
Juice from 1/2 lime
2 Tablespoons Cacao powder
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon powder
1 pinch of salt
Set the oven at 125 degrees Celcius (for hot air). Cut the bananas thinly and dip the slices into the lime juice before placing them on the tray. Mix the cocoa, cinnamon and salt together. Sprinkle the mix through a strainer over the bananas, turn them over and sprinkle over the other side as well. Put the tray into the oven for about 1 hour (or until the bananas are done). Remember to flip the bananas over to the other side halfway through the time – they’re supposed to be easy to pull off the paper. If they’re still sticky or break, wait a little while longer before you flip them. When they’re done, let them cool off on a wire rack before you start devouring (insert cookie monster image).
